Hi, I'm Ashlee - the face behind Ashlee Paiva Photography.

I'm a Melbourne-based photographer living in Wyndham Vale with my husband, Matt, and our three boys. As a busy mum, I know just how quickly life moves. One moment you're celebrating first birthdays, cheering from the sidelines at weekend sport, or gathering family together for a milestone celebration, and before you know it, those moments have become treasured memories.

Photography has always been more than a creative passion for me. It's my way of slowing down, noticing the little moments that often pass by unnoticed, and preserving the connections that make every family and every celebration unique. What began as a love for documenting my own family has grown into a business built on genuine connection, heartfelt storytelling, and creating images that will be cherished for years to come.

My photography style is relaxed, natural, and guided without ever feeling overly posed. I want you to feel comfortable enough to laugh, cuddle your little ones, celebrate with your favourite people, or simply enjoy being present while I capture the moments unfolding naturally around you. The most meaningful photographs aren't always the perfectly posed ones—they're the genuine smiles, quiet embraces, proud glances, and spontaneous laughter that tell your story exactly as it happened.

While I photograph families, events, and milestone celebrations, I've also developed a genuine love for sports photography—particularly basketball. Having spent years involved in the basketball community As a longtime team manager and basketball mum, I’ve spent countless hours courtside, giving me a genuine understanding of the game and an eye for the moments that matter.. The determination, teamwork, celebration, and split-second moments deserve to be remembered just as much as life's biggest milestones.
